There you can buy local handmade souvenirs and see how they are made. The Town Hall is located in a house built in 1797 by the merchant P.R. Harder. Nowadays, it is a Tourism Information Centre and an art gallery. St. Catherine\u2019s\u00a0 Russian Orthodox Church is one of the most stylish and richest baroque style churches in Estonia. Vallik\u00e4\u00e4r is a part of the 17th century fortifications. Remained Tallinn Gate marks the beginning of former postal road. Kuninga (King`s) Street is lined by merchants\u2019 homes built in the 17th century and two churches: an outstanding Baroque style Lutheran Church of St. Elizabeth and the historic Old Russian-style P\u00e4rnu Transformation of Our Lord Apostolic Orthodox Church.
